Restore Function and Flexibility
Physiotherapy is the science of movement. Physiotherapists have a range of therapeutic skills and tools which they use towards the goal of optimizing movement, rehabilitating chronic or acute injury, and increasing overall health and wellness. After assessing and diagnosing your injury and screening for possible medical concerns, your physiotherapist will provide in-session treatment to decrease pain and discomfort and increase function. Working collaboratively with you, they will provide education and support and develop a rehabilitation plan customized to your needs and goals.

Is physiotherapy covered by ICBC?
Yes! Physiotherapy is often a great place to start when you’re facing recovery from car accident related injuries, especially if you’re feeling overwhelmed or are unsure where to start. Your physiotherapist will assess your injuries, ask how your regular activities have been impacted, and create a treatment plan that works for you.
