We are pleased to introduce the newest member of Team Fix – physiotherapist Ty Agha.
Ty grew up in New York and Toronto. He completed his Bachelors degree in Human Physiology, and his Masters degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. He has since completed a Post-professional Doctorate of Physical Therapy in the advanced management of musculoskeletal conditions. He also has post-graduate training in Intramuscular stimulation (also known as Dry Needling).
In his practice, Ty uses an evidence-based approach to provide high quality care that includes orthopaedic manual therapy, corrective exercise prescription and dry needling. He also emphasizes the importance of regional interdependence and looking at the human body as a whole.
Ty has worked with local sports teams to provide physical therapy to athletes in the clinic and on the field. He also enjoys teaching and is a clinical instructor for University of British Columbia and Camosun college students. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, trying out new restaurants and learning new languages.
Ty is in office Monday/Tuesday 8am-2pm and Wednesday/Thursday/Friday 2:15-8:15 pm.
